Ebook {Epub PDF} Broken by Marlena Frank

Read "Broken" by Marlena Frank available from Rakuten Kobo. An exciting second installment to the The Stolen Series that will have fans of Holly Black’s The Folk of the Air Trilogy Brand: The Parliament House. Broken is about more than the journey, it’s about hurting and healing along the way. It’s about Shaleigh figuring out who she is and exploring the chambers of others’ hearts. And there she is, refusing to back down, refusing to be intimidated by the path before her. See what people are saying about Broken. Explore the World of Stolen. by Marlena Frank Publisher: The Parliament House Publication date: Jan. 22, Genre: Young Adult Fantasy. It's difficult taking care of a delusional father by yourself. Sixteen-year-old Shaleigh Mallet would rather explore and photograph dilapidated buildings than cater to her father's dark episodes. CHAPTER So once more our Christmas arrived, and we ended up at The Usual Suspect's, where I spent the first half of the evening watching Frank and Marlene dance around each other. It had taken a while for me to tease out what the details of their disengagement were, but in the end it was a simple story: Marlene had been crapped on by her family, and how I understood that. Marlena Frank is the author of books and novellas that span genres from young adult fantasy to horror. Her debut novel, Stolen Book 1 of the Stolen series, has hit the Amazon bestseller charts twice. She has two books coming out in Chosen, the final book in the Stolen trilogy, and The Impostor and Other Dark Tales, a collection of dark fantasy and horror short stories.

A land has fallen. An escape was made. It’s a victory, but at what price? Shaleigh has made a terrible mistake, one she may not ever be able to fix. Lost and in a strange land with anger and death all around her, she must navigate her way through treacherous lands on her quest for. BROKEN takes you into Marlena Frank's world and gives you a gut punch. She took her unique story and made it even better than the first (I didn't think that was possible). The writing and pacing were on point. I found myself in awe (and a tad like, "please teach me your ways!") as I was reading. I didn't find myself bored or drifting off. In Broken, things get darker as we follow both Shaleigh and Colin as they try to survive. My publisher, Parliament House Press, has decided to lower the cost of all its ebooks to help support those who are struggling due to the coronavirus, and that includes both Stolen and Broken.
